Starting in January 2024, my husband Florus and I will be in Malawi to support the team there in an organizational capacity. As Manager of Operations, my responsibilities will be to oversee daily operations, support the CEO, and ensure good communication. 

Malawi – the Warm Heart of Africa. A beautiful country with welcoming people and stunning nature. It is also a country with many challenges: poverty, hunger, corruption, unemployment, and much more. Timotheos Foundation is working here to help. Orphans, vulnerable children, and youth receive care, education, and the Word of God. It helps them on their path to the future, providing them with solid ground under their feet.

As Manager of Operations, I have the opportunity to contribute to this wonderful organization by overseeing daily operations, supporting the CEO, and ensuring good communication. It is a rewarding job that brings new challenges every day.

A bit about myself: I am from Lunteren, grew up on a farm, and married Florus in 2009. My education and work experience focussed mainly on HRM/Personnel & Organization. This knowledge and experience will be very useful in Malawi. Volunteer work has been a part of my life since I was young. In addition to volunteering for Timotheos, I have experience as the coordinator for a church volunteer organization and as a coach for refugee work.

Alone, we can do nothing; we are completely dependent on the Lord. This is also true for the work of Timotheos. If He blesses His Word and the work, there will be solid ground under the feet of the orphans and youth as well as the staff in Malawi, but also in the Netherlands and around the world.
