Giving Tuesday - December 1, 2020

“Giving Tuesday” originated in 2012 with the intention to set aside a day that was all about celebrating the generosity of giving. It is organized and celebrated each year with the simple aim of encouraging individuals, families, schools, businesses and other organizations to give to the less fortunate.

This year the whole world has faced unprecedented challenges which has greatly impacted many of the most vulnerable in Malawi. We strive to ease some of the additional challenges that our beneficiaries and their families face by gifting a package around Christmas which will provide them with sustenance and products to assist them in their daily needs. Harvest doesn’t occur until April, DV, and many have already spent each day for the past few months wondering how they will find enough sustenance for the day.
